Travelling to China….

Someone prefers to travel to those foreign countries, and experience totally different and exotic cultures, while others prone to travel in their own countries. For me, I prefer travelling around the world. So, after my semester 1 exam on December 2009, I travel to China with all my family members. The reason we choose China is because travelling to China having a promotion during that time and is more cheap compare to others country for instance Australia and America. Besides that, as all of us know, China has a five-thousand-year history, and there are many tourist attractions that people are worthy of visiting. Finally, we choose to visit Macau, Zhuhai, Shun de, Foshan, Guangzhou…

We departed from Penang Airport to Macau International Airport by Air Asia flight. Actually, we just realized that we go Macau by Air Asia flight. Oh My God!!!Since Air Asia flight is not so comfortable, all of us felt tired when we reached Macau. OOooo…this is call promotion price…After we reached there, we direct went to Zhuhai and having our lunch at “de yue fang” restaurant. All of us felt happy because this is the first time we visit China successfully with all my family members. The weather is very cool, almost 0*C--5*C. All of us wear so many shirts and pants until seems like a “Christmas tree”…HAhaha…Later, we visited “Zhu Hai Yu Nui”. That is a “mei ren yu” fish inside the beach and there is a story behide it. The “mei ren yu” fish in a relationship with a fisherman. Father of “mei ren yu” fish do not like this fisherman and force her daughter back to sea by destroy the fisherman village and his outcome. But, mother of the “mei ren yu” fish unable to see her daughter suffer and give a pearl to her daughter. This pearl is very unique and can overcome all the problem. Since that, beach of Zhuhai become peace and two of them live with happiness…haha….this is the origin of “ZHUHAI YU NUI”. If have chance, u all can go there have a look, it is great.

Second day of our journey—we moved to Shun de. In the beginning, all of us thought that this day will make everyone very tired because the tourist guide told us that the first destination is Bao Lin Shi” temple. This temple is situated at hill and there are 5000 step. The funniest is that everyone of us ate a lot after heard that because it needs a lot of energy…My mother , grandmother, grandfather are exception because they do not have effort to do so. After visited this temple, we went to “Feng Xian Zhi”, that is bee garden and having our dinner at “Shi Hai Yi Jia” restaurant. All of us like this restaurant very much because we can eat whatever we want to eat. This restaurant buffet is different from other restaurant because it is very luxurious that I ever seen in my life and for sure the price is high, that is RM200 per person. We really enjoy it. If u are a foreigner can go there to enjoy it too because there are variety country of food such as nasi lemak, karipap, roti canai and so on…. All of us very full after having that luxurious dinner. We moved to Chimelong International Circus later on. This is an animal circus and many unexpected shows are performed. My sister and cousin very excited and stimulate them…

28/12/2009 & 29/12/2009

This two days are more meaningful for me because I become more clear about history of eminent person that is Sun Yat-sen , Yip Man and Bruce Lee.

Other than that, we also visited Xiguan Ancient Grand House. A typical Xiguan Dawu is comprised of three beautiful courtyards with narrow lanes separating them. Each courtyard was designated for a specific function. The first courtyard was for the gatekeepers, sedan chair drivers, and other servants. Traditionally, a Xiguan Dawu had three doors. The first door was quite small, and was usually made out of wood and adorned with carved ornaments. The second door was in fact a wooden fence and was there to prevent people from entering without the owner's permission. The third was the 'official' door, and was much larger than the first door. It would only be closed at night .The house itself would be comprised of living rooms, sitting rooms and kitchen.

That night, we went to Gongbei port which situated in the border of Macau. There are basement night market at this port and have variety of things for instance souvenir, clothes, foods and so on. We bought a lot of things that night. I am quite satisfied with my jacket and shoes which I bought from there because it is cheap…..

Last day-- all of us felt relunctant because this is our last destination of journey-- Macau. Our tourist guide told us that Macau lies about 40 miles away from Hong Kong and was a former colony of Portugal. It was handed back to China in 1999 and has a Status similar to Hong Kong as a special Administrative Region. It has its own currency as well as its own immigration rules and entrance policies. While it has traditionally been overshadowed by Hong Kong, Macau has come into own lately as the gambling center of Asia .Actually, my time in Macau all of 19 hours. Although only 19 hours, we managed to visited a good portion of territory and most of significant attractions. There are many casinos such as Casino Babylon, Casino MGM…I have been walking around the big casinos, MGM. It is probably the neatest building, architecturally and really fantastic. When u enter into this building, seems like enter into a new interesting, fun, full of enjoyable world. This is called the Vegas of Asia. Besides casino, there are “Ma Chui Gaitemple, a lot of shopping center. Haha…shopping center really suitable for my mother, sister and me because this is our favourite. During shopping, we can see that Macau building is obviously influenced by Portuguese. The street signs and architecture is different and it is more Cathoric. When we visited “Ma Chui Gai” temple, the most excited is my sister because she said that this is the place where her admirer Hong Kong actor acting in one of the movie. Therefore, she took a lot of photo there and almost became crazy ….she really quite fun…hehehe… Finally, If you want to gamble and have some interesting night lives, Macao will be the first place you should go and is one of the biggest gambling cities in the world….
